Sad but Meaningful Ending

Author's Note: I wrote the ending to the story touching but if you look behind that it really means a lot.

As the boy walked down the stairs confused on what just happened he went to go get his shoes he was craving for. When he walked through the doors of the shoe store he went to the corner of the store where the shoes laid and ask the clerk to buy these. Running out of the store with the biggest smile on his face he thought to himself that he needed to repay the women but he didn’t know what because he didn’t have any money. Walking back to the women’s house Rodger thought how he could repay the lady. As he approached the door he knocked on it, the lady came out in shock of seeing him. He said that he wanted to repay her by doing work, but the women wouldn’t let him. Rodger just wanted to do something for that lady. Two weeks past and Rodger still felt bad he didn’t repay her. When he finally went back to her house he notice that a sign said FORCLOSER. As the boy started to cry he felt a soft hand on his shoulder, it was the lady.

Standing Up For Yourself

Author's Note: I wrote about Stanley Yelnats in the book "Holes". I wanted to show the readers how Stanley started to stick up for himself.

For my character analysis I analyzed Stanley Yelnats from the book Holes. After being blamed for steal a famous MLB player shoes he gets the choice to go to jail or Camp Green Lake. Stanley chose to go to the camp to dig a hole for two years. As the days went on he kept learning what the Warden was looking for and where it was. Throughout the book Stanley became more brave and learned how to stand up for himself. After him and his friend Zero tried to run away they came back to camp and stood up to all the guards and got the Warden arrested for running an illegal site. Threw the book Stanley came to the camp shy and chubby with no friends, but after his time digging holes he made some good friends and became strong and fit. After running away to God’s Thumb, where he found refuge he learned that he needs to stand up to bullies and in his case the warden.

The Golden Hook

Author’s Note: For my Prediction to the end of hook I wrote the ending to this story by Cody Miller stealing the hook. I wanted to make it seem like he was haunted by Mr. Clarence by taking the golden hook.

After Cody Miller laid Mr. Clarence Buchanan in his wooden coffin he thought about taking that nice gold hook. Taken that hook made Cody’s life no different. Cody thought it was right to take the hook so he put it in Clarence’s old house and lived there. After 10 years of living in that house with no one or anything Cody got sick of being so lonely. He moved back to the city with only the hook and the cloths on his back. Before moving into the city he set the old house on fire. Moving back did nothing everyone hated him and thought badly of him. After getting called every name he decided to bury himself with the hook to never see light again.

Patriot Pen to George Washington

Author's Note: I wrote to George Washington because I thought that he was the best Founding Father's.

Dear George Washington,
I’m writing you this letter so you can have an idea of how great of a president you were. I would want you to know how the decisions you made formed the USA into a beautiful nation. I would just like to complement you on some of your accomplishments. Which includes establish a federal government, two term presidency, and war strategies.

Establishing a fair government was most likely your greatest accomplishment. Most of the laws you and the other founding fathers still stand to this day. Your efforts to make rights and laws is why we have it when you break the law you will be punished fairly.

Recognizing your great war strategies means a lot to me because you are one of the best in history at this. The best decision in my opinion that you made was to stay neutral during the French and British war. Choosing a certain side could have been the mistake of such a young country. If you did choose to a side and that country went on to lose the war that could have made tragedy for America.

You have done so much for this country and it will forever be remembered. You will always be the first and one of the greatest presidents in this nation’s history.  This country is becoming powerful around the world partially because of what you and other founding father have done. Finally I would like to say thank you for all you have done for this country and starting what made America today.

Conflicts and How They Fix Them

In the book Gender Blender by: Blake Nelson Emma Baker and Tom Witherspoon hit heads very hard and switch bodies. They think it’s from this little arrowhead Tom found in the woods. Emma researches it and comes up that they need to switch back before five days by being nice to each other. Whenever they try to reverse themselves  back to normal something gets in their way.

At a friend’s birthday party they start playing Seven Minutes in Heaven. There they jump in the closet and start to say what they learned about each other. Soon the kids switched back into their original bodies.

The Hard Life

Author's Note: I wrote about this story because I really enjoyed the way the author portrayed White Fang. London showed readers how the main character learned to become strong and survive from his owners.

In the book White Fang, by Jack London, the main character, White Fang was a lone wolf who found a tribe of Indians. While there, he was taught how to be a real wolf through hard pain and suffering.  Lastly, White Fang was saved by a man and was trained to love again and be around people. The book shows how White Fang pushed through his hard life and was rewarded in the end.

A Night To Remember

Author's Note: I wrote this because I enjoy teepeeing and ding dong ditching. Look for the voice in my story.

RING, there was the bell for the end of school. As kids ran through the hallway screaming with joy that the long day was over. That was the night we were going to use the whole stash and go all out. We were waiting for this night for four months. Aidan, Charlie, Matt, and me were going to teepee the night before Homecoming. It was going to be a gutsy task but we were up for the challenge.

When our parents finally went to bed that’s when the fun was going to start. We all met up at Aidan’s house at 12:30 A.M. and that’s when we were off. The walk was at least a mile away so we had to stealthy and quick. Car! ,said Charlie. As we jumped to the bushes the car went right passed us. Running through backyards trying not to trigger the motion sensor lights we got to the house.

Aidan opened the bags and said, Lets go. In the bags we had 92 rolls of toilet paper. With the first throw it was a perfect one. After we covered the trees with toilet paper Matt pulled out the 250 plastic forks and started to stick them in the ground everywhere. While Matt and I were forking the ground Charlie was getting rocks and spelling out “HC12”. Aidan had a couple of rolls left so he wanted to touch up the teepeeing job. After every tree was covered and all the forks were gone there was only one last thing to do, that was put all the patio furniture in the back and switch it and put it in the front. As soon as we got all the furniture in the front that was the time we needed to leave.

On the way home we took a little different rout which wasn’t the smartest idea. We walked through a backyard and they had some sort of motion sensor flashing system. When we walked past it a burst of bright light flashed and stunned us. All of us got on our horse and sprinted as far away as we could. Right after that we walked through another yard which had another motion light. After that it was an easy walk home. When we were 6 houses from my house we see the lights of a car but there was no bushes. All we could do was lie in the grass. When the car drove by we noticed that the car was really a cop. It didn’t even slow down to talk to us. He didn’t even notice us. That’s all we had left for that night and had to go to bed because everyone was so exhausted.

Walking back through the back door was a very frightening moment because I had it in my mind that my parents were waiting for me to yell at me. I walked up the stairs to see my parents sleeping tight in their bed. This time I was safe. That night was the most exciting time of my life. Aidan, Charlie, Matt, and me are already growing the stock of the toilet paper for the summer so we can get teepee more people and have more memorable and exciting times.
